5% of the Year - 5% Of Your Goals

As we begin the new year the most common resolution is to lose weight or do something related to the physical. The truth is that the resolutions and goals are achieved if achieved, especially when performance targets or performance.

Before discussing performance goals as you want to analyze this year. It's been 5% of the year and if you want to keep up on your goals, you have achieved the 5% of your final goal.

If you have not achieved the 5%, do not get frustrated, you still have 95% of the year to start and achieve your goals.

Think For example:

If your goal for this year 2012 is to lose 60 pounds or about 27 kilos. You must have lost about 3 pounds so far this year or 1 kilo (1.35 to be exact).

You must understand that losing 60 pounds is not easy and much less rapid, is anyone imagine having at your fingertips, but losing 3 pounds is much easier and if at your fingertips.

Losing 3 pounds it would take only one or two weeks of diet and exercise to three weeks if your exercise routine is not very good. (This case is a person who wants to lose 60 pounds, if you want to lose 20 pounds would take you longer to lose 3 pounds, so do not get frustrated if you have lost only one.)

what is your focus ... What is your ultimate goal and what is 5% of your goal?

To find your 5% you just have to multiply your goal by 0.05

Example: 60 x 0.05 = 3

Once you know your 5% you just have to concentrate on losing the 5% every 2 to 3 weeks and really like the end of the year you achieve your goal. The worst that can happen is that you achieve the year end close to your goal.

So focus on achieving 5% and achieved it by fives to 100% of your goal.

Now let's talk about that are performance goals.

Performance goals are goals that you can monitor, measure and require your action and implementation to achieve it. These goals are characterized by their specificity and measurement.

Think For example:

A common goal: Tone my muscles.
A performance goal: Complete 17 sessions of strength training in January.

A common goal: Feel more energy and strength during the day.
A performance goal: Increase 10% of my strength this month or lifting 10 pounds or more in year X perform 20 minutes of intense cardio 3 times a week or sleep 7 to 8 hours a day every day.

find out the difference?

A common goal is a benefit that we want in our lives, but something we can not control 100%. There is a button to tone muscles or a button to boost your energy, but there are methods that stimulate your body to tone up your muscles as Strength Training and habits that help you have more energy as cardiovascular exercise and sleep at appropriate times.

Then what you have to do now?

Once you get 5% of your goal. What you do is write your common goals and your performance goals. I find it easier to write performance goals immediately after writing your common goals.

Once you have your performance goals, you have to do is to implement each of them. Remember that each performance goal must be something you can run and know when you finish. That way you'll know when you achieve each goal.

I guarantee that if you achieve your performance goals, accomplish your goals year.

The secret is to focus on what you can control and implement what it takes to achieve it.

Until next time if you want to write your goals in the comment area do not be shy or timid. This found that people who share your goals have a higher success rate.
