As promised, here is my detailed report of my week of diet for extreme fat loss, I did follow the steps recommended by Dr. Brad Campbell (Extreme Weight Loss in One Week).
It is an extreme diet, so it was difficult to make, but the truth is that sooo much as I thought it would be. Another thing to consider is that it is not to be for long. Just got last week and already, then returns to normal healthy diet. We must remember that starvation diets or too limited in the types of food are not a long term plan. Do not forget. Nothing better than having a diet you can do safely every day and all your life.
Well, after warnings and blah blah, without further ado, here is the diet and the results:
* Advance preparation: two days of pure protein (Days -2 and -1) followed by a day off diet (Day 0). Brad Campbell recommends starting with the day off diet, two days of the added protein diet and I think that I helped even more.
* Day one: FAST. Only drink water, tea and coffee without sugar and milk.
* Day two: Low carb diet. Only vegetable protein and fiber (not tubers, legumes no, no starches). Fewer calories.
* Day Three: Same as day 2 but add fruit.
* Day Four: Same as day 3 but add a little more low GI carbohydrates such as legumes or some cereal (oatmeal in my case). Do not eat anything after 7 in the evening.
* Day Five: Do not eat anything until 1 pm. From that time to eat a balanced diet and healthy normal.
* Day six: Normal diet, always careful not to consume too many calories. Basically eat healthy balanced diet: protein, vegetables, fruits, maybe some other low GI carbohydrate, small amounts of healthy fats, and frequent small meals, lots of water, etc.. (Which we all know, then).
* Day Seven: FASTING. Only water, tea and coffee without sugar and milk.
That's it.
The hard part is the fast, but the truth is that I already I have a tiempillo doing a weekly fast and I used to. The first was very hard to do, but now I can make them without inconvenience. I'm a little hungry as at 3 o'clock, and already at about 6 pm and I'm not hungry removed until the next day.
Well that's the diet I did. Brad Campbell includes training, a little different depending on the day, but it did not post-operative rest (my husband made himself).
And the reports?
Here we get the results that gave me my electronic scale (with fat mass analyzer) for each day:
Day% Fat% Water% Muscle Weight (kg)
-2 26.2 54.2 33.5 64.6
-1 25.9 54.5 33.6 64.0
0 25.5 54.8 33.6 63.2
1 25.8 54.5 33.6 63.8
2 25.3 54.9 33.7 62.9
3 25.3 54.9 33.7 62.8
4 25.1 55.0 33.8 62.4
5 25.0 55.1 33.9 62.2
6 24.8 55.3 33.9 61.8
7 25.2 55.0 33.8 62.5
Final 24.7 55.3 33.9 61.6
Amazing isn't it
Of course, as I have to wait another week at least to confirm the loss of fat (which is not pure water, for example, or, worse, water and muscle) ... but I really think I must have lost a decent amount of fat and what I have is happier since I left feeling stancamiento it was in January: D
Plane so I am going back to do this in a tiempillo, I'll see how often I get into the routine to accelerate fat loss, and the next time I'll do with the recommended exercise routine (I'll tell you when the right , and suddenly I put up menus).
Well, there you have ... What do you think? would you do? Will you be able to do fasts and everything?
