From Day off During a Diet to lose Weight? Huh?

After eight weeks of a diet and strict exercise program, I found myself immersed in a drama - I could not lose more weight! Talk to my husband (who always tried to make me break my diet offering cookies, chips, alcohol and all kinds of temptations that I refused to have) of what was happening to me, he stood firm in what I always say, my body needed to take a day off from the diet to help my metabolism to boost and, of course, as a woman I never heard it. So I started doing something really stupid: like crazy cardio twice in a day, morning and evening, with exactly the same result - no weight loss at all.

I began to lose both my faith and my patience in the diet, I always was wondering "what am I doing wrong?" I went over and over again to my program of diet and my exercise plan, finding no response until one day my coach and friend, Larry, I asked "why are you so stressed? You look decayed. "I expressed my concern about my problems with weight loss. He looked at me and laughed ... that insulted me at first, so I said "for" his temperament Colombia, and listen to me! Not always start a weight loss program is so exciting, but the good news, my friend, is that you can enjoy the things that you like at least one day a week. "In my face drew a big question mark, what? "Welcome to the cheat day," he said.

Basically, when you put on a diet fairly strong combined with intense workouts, your body uses all the energy from food. If you continually give you less calories, carbohydrates and fat is needed to restore energy levels, your body will start to slow down the process of burning fat to survive.

So, your body will start to keep their fat instead of burning it! Having a day off diet restores energy levels of your body and takes away that feeling of hunger and back to the burning of fat, which is what we want right?

Physiologically deception offers many benefits, if you've been on a strict diet, you probably have low muscle glycogen levels, along with this often comes a feeling of sluggishness during your training and your optimum strength decreases. By the way, let me explain that glycogen is a polysaccharide of glucose (GIC) that functions as the second energy storage in the short term in animal cells. This is done mainly by the liver and muscles, but can also be made by the brain and stomach. The lack of GIC can cause fatigue faster than normal, so you will not be able to carry out your workouts as you did before.

The lesson is, the excess calories and carbohydrates taken on your day off diet will help you replace some of those stores to help you have more energy and work harder in your next workout. Along with the decrease in muscle glycogen that goes with the diet also has a reduced effect of metabolism because the body is hungry and tries to reduce the amount of energy needed to continue to operate on a daily basis. This means you're burning fewer calories sitting there that if you have not been on a diet, making weight loss more difficult.

Therefore, the lesson of the day - not always have to listen to your spouse or strangers, but you might want to consider your comments ..

These days I have to say I've improved my lifestyle. Since I lost all my weight, I knew that one day off the diet and exercise is very beneficial for my body. That's why every Saturday my family and I eat what we like. I call this diet anymore, but if you call eating as healthy as possible during six days, and Saturday is my day happy, "my day off diet." Now when my friends come to me with the same concern I teach this easy trick: deception is not always a bad thing. But if you're stubborn, you might consider the possibility of giving you a taste of your meals a week instead of a full day of rest.

One need not be extreme, stubborn and the next time your partner or your friend tells you something about your diet, just say "yes, baby I'll try." I would like to give you some advice: You can use this trick to socialize with friends and have fun without guilt.
